New SkyBridge Alliance selects Thales to accelerate Europe’s Air Traffic Management modernisation

Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) from the Czech Republic (ANS CR), Estonia (EANS) and Finland (FTANS) launch new SkyBridge Alliance to strengthen cooperation, harmonise operations, and drive a new era of efficiency and innovation in European air traffic management. The SkyBridge Alliance has selected an upgrade to Thales’s TopSky – ATC solution, and joins nine other European ANSPs in the TopSky - ATC Partners group, which seeks to develop together an ATC system for safe and seamless operations, which accelerates modernization and ensures interoperability across borders.

Eurocontrol's latest Data Snapshot takes a first view of core 2025 European aviation network data. 2025 was a year of solid traffic growth in the European aviation network, in a year characterised by strong cooperation between the EUROCONTROL Network Manager and all operational stakeholders. In total, 11.12 million flights took place across the network, 4% more than in 2024, and just over the total for pre-pandemic 2019 by 16.8K flights. Indra group awarded FAA (USA) Radar System Replacement Contract

Indra Group, a global leader in air traffic management and mobility technology, today announced it has been awarded a $342 million contract by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to manufacture next-generation air traffic surveillance radars under the FAA’s Radar System Replacement program.
