INTERNATIONAL AFIS SEMINAR

5-6TH SEPTEMBER 2012

This 3rd annual seminar will once again bring together AFIS operators, national CAA officers and managers from many different countries. It has proved to be an excellent opportunity to actively share the latest news, updates and best practices, generating professional discussions and new ideas.

Which subjects will the 3rd AFIS seminar cover?

• AFIS throughout the world
• Introduction to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) rule making, the European perspective
• The importance of common rules for AFIS throughout the world
• Emergency situations - examples from real life situations
• Critical incidents and stress handling

The seminar aims to provide answers to different issues that AFIS personnel face today. We shall have presentations from different experts within the field, workshops and open discussions including Q & A sessions. The topics will be presented by speakers from EASA, AFIS TWR (Norway) and Entry Point North.

The event will take place at Entry Point North ATM Training Academy at Malmoe-Sturup airport on day 1 and hotel conference room on the 2nd day.

The price of the seminar package is €295 per person. The package includes: 2 seminar days, 1 night at a hotel in Malmoe city centre, transport between the hotel and Entry Point North, lunch both days and dinner for all participants on the 5th of September.

Due to the popularity of the event, we kindly request participants book early and no later than 5th August 2012.
