FREQUENTIS Releases the New Version of smartMessenger - the Fastest and most Flexible AMHS System on the Market

The latest release 4.3 offers a number of new functionalities, such as advanced X.400 MTA (Message Transfer Agent) management functions, shared mailboxes and tools for customers to create their own forms for the User Agent.

- Vienna, Austria

smartMessenger now supports shared mailboxes, which is a useful feature for users wanting to work in groups: all message changes are mirrored between group members.

The User Agent (UA) includes a rich set of forms for entering standard aviation-related messages. Customers can now easily access all the tools available through the SDK (Software Development Kit) for creating their own forms and can seamlessly integrate the logic of these forms with the installation package. This unprecedented level of flexibility allows users to configure the system according to their specific operational and management needs and processes.

John Fort, CEO at Frequentis California commented that: “With a minimum performance of 350 AMHS messages switched per second and the new features available to the users to configure the system according to their specific operational needs smartMessenger is not only the fastest but also the most flexible AMHS system available on the market.” Furthermore, he added “Since it has been developed entirely in-house, Frequentis does not rely on third-party organisations to implement and test new functionalities and thus offering a system with low life cycle costs to its customers.”
