New Civil-Military Performance Measurement Service launched
EUROCONTROL has signed bilateral agreements with Belgium, France and Germany to launch thePan-EuropeanRepository ofInformationSupporting Civil-Military Performance Measurements (PRISMIL) Service. The agreements were signed on 3 November by Colonel Itzelberger on behalf of the Bundeswehr German Air Force, Lieutenant-Colonel Desair for the Belgian Air Component, Général Adam on behalf of the French Air Force and Jean Robert Cazarré on behalf of EUROCONTROL.
PRISMIL allows data relevant for civil-military performance measurement to be collected, integrated and stored. Its online service supports the implementation of civil-military performance measurements at both national and pan-European level. Through the PRISMIL portal, States will now have the possibility to review their airspace procedures and assess their performance in terms of flexible use of airspace operations in compliance with the Single European Sky requirements. PRISMIL is open to all EUROCONTROL Stakeholders on a voluntary basis; it follows the ICAO performance taxonomy also adopted by the Single European Sky ATM Research programme (SESAR).
PRISMIL establishes a single point of access to the comprehensive set of data covering the requirements, allocation and use of airspace. The signature today by the pioneer States, Belgium, France and Germany, paves the way for a civil-military performance-based partnership in support of the Single European Sky, highlighted Jean Robert Cazarré, Director Civil-Military ATM Coordination and SES Implementation.
