The government of the Sultanate of Oman has put huge investments to meet the growing needs of the civil aviation sector. New domestic airports are now under various stages of development at Sohar, Ras al Hadd, Adam and Duqm, as well as
the multi-billion rials expansion of Muscat and Salalah international airports.
In view of this significance the Oman Civil Aviation Conference aims to highlight the emerging opportunities across the sector and to discuss the major challenges, issues and trends which will
serve as a guide for both regulators and the sectors to position the Sultanate of Oman as the next potential aviation hub in the region in the next 3-4 years.
