In the next 20 years, China will boast 10,000 aircraft engines demand so that the total value is up to about $ 98 billion. At the very time of the engine industry restructuring, China has approved aero engine to be the Major Science and Technology Program, which means there will be $300 billion government investment in aero engine industry in the next two decades. A new generation of Civil Turboprop Engine will be developed by AVIC and Safran, which becomes the first Turboprop Engine project in China. Meanwhile, the Sino-Russia wide-body aircraft project is in the process of international bidding. Further, more helicopters will be needed for operations in plateau area in China which will need a new generation technology engine.
