Business Development Manager – EMEA - preferable based in Denmark, UK or Germany

Critical Communication (Air Traffic Control & Command, Control, Communication)

Do you want to be part of a small focused and experienced team with a great impact on the EPOS Business Development journey? And do you want to work with business development in a Global environment? Right now, EPOS is looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to play a key role in driving the Critical Communication (ATC (Air Traffic Control) / C3 (Command, Control, Communications)) business division forward!           

Your Opportunity:

The EPOS Critical Communication (ATC/C3works in a world-wide team and delivers highly customized high-end audio solutions to ensure flawless communication and maximum security designed for different areas. As our new Business Development Manager, you can look forward to working in a dynamic and global environment, where you will expand your business development skills and be involved in our sales activities in our Sales business in the ATC/C3 area.


You will work closely with all customer contacts and EPOS country partners on all relevant levels. It will be your responsibility to develop the business in the EMEA market and to generate new customers via Critical Communication (ATC/C3) business channels and to work on strategic plans.          
Your main responsibilities among others will be:

-          Control and supervision of important key clients and their customers and projects in assigned EMEA territories.

-          In collaboration with Technical Portfolio Manager develop new systems.

-          Work with Customer Service/Logistics on delivery of products to customers.

-          Together with customers development of appropriate communication systems.

-          Collaborate to set up a sales strategy for Critical Communication (ATC/C3) project business in designated territories.

-          Creating a successful regional sales system beyond traditional country territories and working with EPOS Country Partners.

-          Sales and Delivery turnover planning and responsibility in assigned areas.

-          Support projects to increase brand awareness of EPOS Audio in the Headset Project Business together with Trade Marketing and Product & Portfolio Management.           

To succeed in the role, you have the following qualifications:

-          You hold an educational background on Bachelor or Master level from e.g. Business, Marketing, Digital audio technology, Commercial or related fields.

-          You have professional experience in the sales area for communication solutions in ATC, and Command, Control, Communications & Surveillance, Marine/Rail, First Responder/Government Communications, and Commercial Aviation markets.

-          Familiarity with the Sales Force System.

-          You have some technical capability or understanding of technical applications.

-          We expect that you have an independent and entrepreneurial mindset with a founder’s mentality        

-          You are a strategic thinker.

-          You are business fluent in English (written and oral). It is required that you have a secondary language German or French.  

You thrive on delivering high level of service and selling with a keen eye for customer satisfaction. On a more personal level you have a can-do approach, and you are highly engaged with a positive mind-set. You work independently, like taking responsibility and enjoy a collaborative and ambitious environment. Apart from having good communication and coordination skills, you are proactive in your daily work. You are good at building relationships across cultures and can get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.
