DWI supplies RAIM predictions to ANA
DWI is pleased to announce that it is supplying RAIM predictions to All Nippon Airways (ANA), the Japanese airline. ANA will use the GNSS RAIM/RNP Prediction Service Web User Interface (GRPS Web UI) to calculate RAIM predictions for its GPS-based operations. The GRPS Web UI offers RAIM predictions based on the latest GPS constellation with no geographic restrictions and 24/7 availability, for all ICAO PBN Navigation Specifications including RNP AR down to 0.1.
ANA needed only a short training course given over the internet to be able to use the GRPS Web UI operationally.
"With mandates for RNP operations starting to appear around the world, this is an example of how DWI offers a simple solution to assist operators who need to comply with such mandates," said John Wilde, CEO of DWI. "RNP 1 being mandated in Hong Kong is such an example and the GRPS Web UI will help ANA continue to operate smoothly there and to all other destinations."
