Jotron supplies ATC radio systems for Georgian air space

Jotron AS, a leading manufacturer of professional communication systems for safety in various industries, has in September 2024 successfully completed SAT on VHF systems for Sakaeronavigatsia in Georgia. Sakaeronavigatsia plays a critical role in keeping Georgia’s civil aviation sector running smoothly. Through this collaboration, Jotron’s cutting-edge VHF radios and remote-control systems are installed at air traffic control sites across the country.

In September 2024, Jotron, a leading manufacturer of modern ATC systems, successfully completed the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) on complete VHF ground to air communication systems and radio remote control management to these three sites: Kojori, Kopitnari ATC Tower and Telavi ATC Tower. The first two systems are installed and in operation. Currently, the Telavi ATC Tower is scheduled to be operational next year 2025. These are positive developments that will contribute to continued stability and growth of Georgia’s civil aviation industry.

Jotron has been delivering ATC radio systems to Sakaeronavigatsia since 2009. Today, more than 200 radio units and associated radio remote control systems are in operation at Georgian ATC sites.
