ACR signs LOI with Engadin Airport AG

ACR Aviation Capacity Resources Switzerland AG (ACR Switzerland), the newly established subsidiary of ACR Aviation Capacity Resources AB (ACR), a Single European Sky (SES) certified Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) has signed an “Letter of Intent” with Engadin Airport AG Switzerland (Airport and Swiss ANSP with over 10 years of experience) to provide the support and expertise in the provision of Air Traffic Services.

Engadin Airport today combines the functions of airport operator and provider of Aerodrome Flight Information Services (AFIS), and has appointed ACR Switzerland to be its partner in the area of Air Traffic Service provision.

The mains goals of the cooperation are to assure a transfer of expertise between the two companies, to achieve cost reductions in the provision of Air Traffic Services and to establish ACR as an ANSP in Switzerland and neighbouring countries.

ACR today is operating 14 airport towers in Sweden and is expanding its operations into Switzerland and adjacent markets. The signing of the cooperation/agreement between ACR Switzerland and Engadin Airport is, according to Marek Bekier, the European Manager of ACR “the first step into the European market and underlines ACR’s ambition to become a leading provider of Tower Air Traffic Services in Europe”.

ACR is a Swedish Single European Sky (SES) certified Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) providing cost efficient Air Traffic Services to airports while ensuring the highest levels of safety. ACR was established in 2004.
