Airservices Australia releases two RFIs for Drone systems and services
Airservices Australia have, this week, published two Requests for Information (RFI) Market Surveys for Drone systems and services.
The First RFI is for "Drone/UAV based Flight Inspection Services"
"Airservices seeks to understand the current landscape of emerging technologies in the Flight inspection of navigational equipment, including: advancement and maturity of new technologies and functionality, regulatory compliance, commercial models available as well as risk and mitigations with regards to delivery of a fully operational FIS in an Australian aviation context. Through this engagement with the market, Airservices will understand the capability, capacity and expected timeline of/for market participants to deliver an operationally viable FIS Solution of the future."
The deadline for participation in the RFI is 12 October 2020

The second RFI is for "Integrated Drone Surveillance System"
"The purpose of this RFI is to gather information from industry regarding drone surveillance capability and solutions that may be relevant to a future integrated drone surveillance system."
