Airways extends technical training for international students
Airways New Zealand has been awarded New Zealand Government approval for a new technical maintenance engineering programme which is opening doors for potential customers in both Asia and the Middle East.
International students now qualify for a New Zealand study visa, following New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approval of the Introduction to Air Traffic Safety for Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) programme. Students can add a further two or three months of study in technical English Language, meaning that studying in New Zealand is becoming a very attractive option for international students in this specialist subject.
The 10-week programme is provided for people who currently work as technical staff in the field of aviation electronics and systems in their home country.
The programme includes courses in communication principles, data network basics, ANS radio,
navigational aids principles, radio principles and basic surveillance principles.
Airways Training is ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS certified with a proven track record for delivery of international courses.
