ARTAS, RMD and RAPS-3 Chosen by ROMATSA
The Romanian air navigation service provider ROMATSA has contracted a complete package of COMSOFT surveillance equipment.
Upon commissioning, the powerful ARTAS tracker will receive radar data through 15 designated channels from Hungary, Moldavia and Bulgaria, as well as from domestic surveillance sites in Romania. The accurately calculated air situation picture from ARTAS is distributed to a series of individual users throughout Romania in line with their specific needs. While the two supplementary RMD displays monitor surveillance information and visualize system performance, the two portable PC-based RAPS-3 systems offer comfortable and customizable features for, e.g., data analysis, conformity testing, trouble shooting or recording and replay.
BUCHAREST/ROMANIA, September 2009 ROMATSA the Romanian air navigation service provider has signed a contract with Germany-based COMSOFT for the supply and installation of two ARTAS systems for operational as well as for test and development purposes.
