Breaking News - Malaysian Airlines B777 crashes near Ukraine/Russian border

A Malaysian Airlines B777, Flight MH017 (9M-MRD) from Amsterdam Schiphol to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia has crashed near the  Ukraininan/Russian border.

The aircraft is reported to have 295 passenegers and crew on board. Some reports that the aircraft may have been shot down are also being reported. There are no reported survivors.
