Martin contacted the diabetescouncil.com to inquire what his chances were in becoming an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) with diabetes. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and his dream had always been to be in the command center. He was understandably upset about his new diagnosis and wondered how it might affect his future career choices.
In continuation of our series on “can you work in that career with diabetes,” we are taking a look at whether or not one can work as an Air Traffic Controller if they have diabetes.
