COMSOFT IT receives ISO27001 certification for its information security management systems

As a software solutions provider and consultant for the ATM industry and industrial communications, COMSOFT is acutely dependent and aware of the importance of information, both internally and above all to its customers. Information security requires not only security-conscious employees, but also the implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

COMSOFTs ISMS covering IT-support, IT-procurement, network administration and data center operations has now been officially certified by the independent auditor, DQS. Ralph Schöne, COMSOFT CIO, summarized the reports findings: The management system is effective and fulfills the international Norm ISO/IEC 27001. Neither serious nor minor discrepancies were detected.

This is COMSOFTs fourth ISO certification since 1993 when it received the ISO9001 for its management system. This has been renewed regularly since then, and was followed in 2004 and 2009 by ISO14001 for environmental management, and in 2011 with ISO20000-1 for its IT management system for ARTAS maintenance and services.
