Category Technology Award Cybersecurity solution implemented in ATC equipment
CS is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted as part of the prestigious IHS Jane’s ATC Awards 2015 event which aims at celebrating the contribution of leading companies to the ever evolving ATC and ATM industries.
CS has been selected for its cybersecurity solution referred to as SEDUCS. Expert in cybersecurity, CS has designed SEDUCS, an innovative industrial method of cyber protection, implemented right into the core of the ATC flagship products: the Voice Communication System CSoIP and the IP Recorder VRoIP. It ensures a high level of security for mission-critical infrastructures and systems.
CS has been shortlisted in the category Technology Award - reflecting a significant contribution from equipment supplier - by a panel of judges composed of members of established and authoritative aviation organizations including but not limited to CANSO, EUROCONTROL, FAA, IATA and ICAO .
This award nomination confirms the ever expanding technological contribution of CS in the field of Air Traffic Control as well as its role as a major player in the Voice Communication System industry.
This distinction comes with even greater importance this year as the number of entries has substantially risen thus underpinning the importance given by the ATC community to this highly coveted award.
Laurent Regulier CS product manager in charge of the ATC product line said:” CS’s expertise in Voice Communication System (VCS) technologies is already renowned across the ATC community. The recognition of IHS Jane’s puts the spotlights on our cybersecurity expertise, whose applications are used to secure CS’s ATC portfolio but are also declined as a family of successful standalone products adapted to business sectors facing growing cyber protection needs.”
The winners for the IHS Jane's ATC Awards 2015 will be recognized at the awards ceremony on 9 March 2015, held during the CANSO ATM Dinner in Madrid.
