DataBeacon is excited to announce the launch of Tango5, a new training tool for air traffic management. This tool changes how we teach and learn about air traffic control, making it useful for aviation professionals, enthusiasts, and students alike.
DataBeacon’s data processing technology is already deployed across our customer environments, successfully supporting air traffic management through various setups, including hybrid on-premise solutions and cloud deployments with the commitment to enhancing safety and efficiency in aviation. Now, with Tango5, we are introducing an interactive training platform that allows users to get hands-on experience with air traffic management in an engaging and playful way, fostering learning through active participation.
Tango5 introduces real-world scenarios into training, offering unique challenges that mimic the daily tasks of air traffic controllers. With thousands of scenarios ready to use, Tango5 can tailor training to specific regions or sectors and complexities. This approach not only provides highquality instruction but can easily reduce the hours of traditional simulator sessions.
Currently launched as a beta pre-release version, Tango5 will continue evolving with new functionalities such as dynamic traffic flow simulations and more complex scenarios - all powered by DataBeacon’s proprietary data engines which accurately replicate aircraft flight patterns within specific airspace sectors.
David Perez, CEO of DataBeacon says: "With Tango5, we're redefining how selection and training for Air Traffic Controllers is conducted. Our solution not only enhances learning experiences but also reduces costs associated with traditional simulator-based training methods. And best of all, it's truly fun to play! We invite all aviation enthusiasts to join the challenge and experience it for themselves.”
The introduction of Tango5 marks another significant milestone in DataBeacon’s journey towards driving positive change within the aviation industry.
