Durham Tees Valley Airport selects Precision Applications
Precision Applications are to supply and install a replacement ATC Recording System at DTVA.
Durham Tees Valley Airport has awarded the contract to supply and install their replacement ATC Recording System to Precision Applications. The proposed Veristore System not only guarantees compliance with the latest UK CAA regulations but also includes a number of unique features which make it straightforward to operate and maintain.
Voice Communications, Radar Screens and Radar Data will be recorded and can be replayed totally synchronously should there be a requirement to investigate an incident. Low cost of ownership and an expected in service life in excess of 10 years were both factors taken into account when the system was selected.
DTVA is operated by Peel Airports Limited and is looking to grow its business during the next few years exploring opportunities across all aspects of aviation business including passengers, cargo and general aviation.
The new recording system will be installed and commissioned within the next few weeks to ensure that it is fully operational in time for the busier holiday season.
