Dutch Caribbean ANSP Commissions the IDS/Ubitech AMHS System into Full Operations in Curacao
IDS Ubitech Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A., is proud to announce that Dutch Caribbean Air Navigation Service Provider (DC-ANSP) has successfully commissioned into full operations the AMHS system provided by IDS/Ubitech. DC-ANSP, previously known as the Netherlands Antilles Air Traffic Control (NAATC), has now transitioned its operators to the new AMHS system which is connected directly to the FAA Communications Center.
This is the beginning of a busy period for IDS/Ubitech in the Caribbean who will be commissioning three more AMHS systems in St. Maarten, Jamaica, and Bahamas in the coming months. Additionally, AMHS interoperability testing has been scheduled with the FAA for all of these sites with the goal of permanent AMHS linkages being established with the FAA by the end of the 2012.
