Egis Avia and DSNA pool expertise to develop an airport collaborative decision making solution

DSNA, the French Air Navigation Services Provider, and Egis Avia, the leading air transport consulting and engineering company, signed a partnership agreement to offer assistance and solutions in airport collaborative decision making (CDM).

Both organisations have a longstanding history of working in partnership on air traffic management activities. Their cooperation has already produced significant benefits for Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport through the CDM@CDG programme. This initiative led to the accreditation of the A-CDM label for the airport by EUROCONTROL in November 2010.

DSNA and Egis Avia are initiating this cooperation to provide support to aviation stakeholders (airport operators, air traffic control, airlines, and ground handlers) in successfully implementing CDM at airports. The need for additional capacity and efficiency has become a worldwide challenge and airport CDM is a key solution delivering measurable benefits to the aviation community and to passengers as well. The purpose of CDM is to improve the exchange of accurate and timely information on the platform to facilitate decision-making. The process generates major gains as it improves operational efficiency and capacity, reduces delays due to the airport and optimises the use of resources both in normal and adverse conditions.

DSNA and Egis Avia are blending experience and expertise to build a comprehensive range of services from CDM project scoping to implementation support. Our assistance aims to enhance any airports performance, in compliance with local and regional constraints.

This new synergy can benefit to airlines willing to optimise their operations with both economic and environmental gains or to delay-prone airports looking to more stable and predictable traffic flows.
