ENAIRE attends the ICAO Air Navigation World Conference and contributes its experience in space traffic management and high-altitude operations
From 28 to 31 August, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is holding Air Navigation World 2023 - Shaping the Skies of Tomorrow, an event where global experts present and discuss the future technologies and procedures that will allow civil aviation to continue to evolve.
Xavier Benavent, ENAIRE's Operations Director, is attending on behalf of the company. He is particularly focused on conferences related to Space Traffic Management (STM) and High-Altitude Operations (HAO), which are essential to the efficient integration of new airspace users.
ENAIRE works with all organisations to develop appropriate legal frameworks and unified operational procedures that enable the safe and effective management of these new operations both locally and worldwide. As we saw in November of last year with the atmospheric re-entry of the remains of a CZ-5B Chinese rocket, or with the launch of the Virgin Orbit rocket, Spain, and in particular ENAIRE, plays a key role in the international coordination of these operations.
