Estonian ANS Selects COMSOFTs Leading Edge AIS Solution

The German ATC expert COMSOFT has been chosen for the provision of the national Estonian ICAO and Digital NOTAM office with enhanced integrated briefing and flight planning functionality.
TALLINN/ESTONIA, March 2011 Estonian Air Navigation Services (EANS) has selected COMSOFT to provide their renowned AIS solution CADAS in order to comply with the latest and future requirements for highly efficient aeronautical data management workflows. This modern and future-proof AIS system impressively displays latest characteristics such as internet-based flight planning facilities with integrated Pre-Flight Information Bulletin (iPIB) creation.
The new Digital NOTAM office will be fully integrated with Estonia's existing central aeronautical AIXM 5 database and eAIP production system. All workflows will be fully in line with the Aeronautical Data Quality (ADQ) requirements according to EC 73/2010 and the ICAO's AIS to AIM roadmap.
EANS is looking back on a fruitful business relationship with COMSOFT, having already placed their confidence in COMSOFT for the supply of an AIXM 5 database as a pivotal component of their AIS, electronic Aeronautical Information Publishing (eAIP) and electronic Input Forms (eIF) for data originator integration in previous projects. The current contract proves the customers full satisfaction with the German supplier who once again highlights his exceptional position in the AIM field.
This project will perfectly complete the Estonian AIS and revaluate it into a fully integrated AIM solution. The integration of the Digital NOTAM office with the existing native AIXM 5 infrastructure benefits from EANS' previous anticipatory and future-oriented decisions and will carry forward their pioneering role amongst Europe's ANSPs.
