EUROCONTROL’s Performance Review Commission publishes its report on European Air Traffic Management performance in 2022

The Performance Review Report provides a critical review of Air Navigation Services (ANS) performance in the EUROCONTROL area in 2022.
It reviews European ANS performance across a wide spectrum of key performance areas (safety, capacity, environment, and cost-efficiency) and also reports on complementary research (e.g. transformation support, international benchmarking) carried out by the independent Performance Review Commission (PRC).
The goal is to provide policy makers and ANS stakeholders with objective information and independent advice concerning the performance of European ANS, based on analysis, consultation and information provided by relevant parties.
Background
This report has been produced by the Performance Review Commission (PRC). The PRC was established by the Permanent Commission of EUROCONTROL in accordance with the ECAC Institutional Strategy 1997. One objective of this strategy is 'to introduce a strong, transparent and independent performance review and target setting system to facilitate more effective management of the European ATM system, encourage mutual accountability for system performance.
