FABEC OPS Theatre hosts operations experts from around the world

- Langen, Germany.

FABEC OPS Theatre returns to World ATM Congress 2020 with a bold agenda centred on new operational concepts including urban air mobility, dynamic airspace configuration, initial Trajectory-Based Operations (iTBO), data sharing, resilience management, interdependencies of ATM performance, understanding delay, and the value of forecasts. The presentations, chosen from more than 50 requests received from five continents, provide valuable insight into new systems entering the market. Speakers will share their experiences and exchange views with industry experts in an international forum that encourages informed and open discussion on concrete operational issues that matter for the business.

President and CEO of the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Peter F. Dumont said: “The central location of the FABEC OPS Theatre in the Exhibition Hall at World ATM Congress reflects the centrality of the issues it addresses. The theatre attracts a wide international audience and provides valuable insight into issues that affect global operations today while exploring solutions for the future. The agenda is both thought-provoking and informative.”

Chairman of the FABEC CEO Board, Chairman and CEO of Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (DFS), Prof Klaus-Dieter Scheurle said: “ATCA has once again organised an informative and thought-provoking line-up of presentations to help the industry prepare for the challenges ahead - whether related to safety and security, disruptive technologies or new concepts. The FABEC OPS Theatre provides an important forum to share and exchange views on issues which have a direct impact on air traffic control operations.”
