G&D receives TOP 100 Award
KVM manufacturer named as one of Germany’s most innovative medium-sized companies
Award-winning innovation: KVM manufacturer Guntermann & Drunck GmbH (G&D) received the TOP 100 award 2021. For the 28th time, this award has been given to particularly innovative medium-sized companies. In an extensive scientific selection process, G&D had previously shown their commitment to innovation.
More than 120 criteria from five categories were used to evaluate the submissions: innovation-friendly top management, innovative climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success. Among other things, the question here was whether innovations are the result of a planned approach or a product of chance, i.e. whether they can be repeated. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this time the study also examined how flexibly companies are responding to the Corona crisis and how fast they are adapting their strategies to the new situation. "The Top 100 Award is the most important award for innovative companies in the SME sector, and we are delighted that it recognizes the creativity and problem-solving skills of our entire team," explains G&D Managing Director Rolland Ollek.
The medium-sized company develops and produces KVM products for extending and switching computer signals, and operates on a global scale. KVM systems from G&D are installed in numerous control rooms around the globe, for example in air traffic control centers and airports, on ships, in TV & film production studios, the chemical and petrochemical industry as well as in the energy sector. G&D KVM products enable the extension and distributed switching of computer signals over a distance of up to 10,000 meters. They prevent disruptive heat and noise emissions at highly complex control room consoles and also enable access to fallback systems to make control rooms around the globe fail-safe.
