HungaroControl grants Thales the Award for Best Business Partner
On January 26, 2012 on the occasion of its 10th anniversary as an autonomous company, Hungarys state owned air navigation service provider HungaroControl, awarded Thales the Best Business Partner accolade.
Rémi Gille, Thales VP, Air Traffic Management business, says Thales is very honored to receive this prestigious award, as an appreciation of the long and fruitful cooperation between Thales and HungaroControl. We are proud to have contributed, alongside our customer, in the growth of Air Traffic in the Hungarian sky and we are eager to build on this long-standing relationship to face the coming challenges of the Single European Sky.
During the past three years, HungaroControl renewed its confidence in Thales which will equip the new state-of-the-art air traffic control center to be built by the end of this year in Budapest with new hardware and upgraded software. In doing this, Thales helps HungaroControl to address its main priority of bringing the highest quality ATM to the Hungarian air space and contributing to the launch of Functional Airspace Block Central Europe (FAB CE) at the highest possible technological level.
