IATAS Selects FlightStats for its LIVE Airport Simulator
IATAS Live Airport Capacity and Safety Simulator (ACES) will be enhanced by operational data offered by FlightStats real time flight data services.
“Since decisions will be made using ACES simulation recommendations in LIVE mode, the new data source ensures robust validation and data integrity” says C.E.O & Chief Systems Architect, Ori Shloosh.
“In the future, non-live ACES simulator will allow for cleaner and accurate historical live data as oppose to the previously scheduled data.”
The simulator can be seen at World ATM Congress 2017 between March 7th through 9th at stand #1163.
About ACES
ACES allows airports and ANSPs to safely increase capacity and throughput while optimizing airport operations, turnaround times for all-weather / zero-visibility conditions while using local SOPs, MANOPS and restrictions. The LIVE mode includes dynamic wake modeling for maximised throughputs on runways, routing, optimal pushback times to reduce congestions and conflicts at junctions and hotspots.
The Live version of the platform integrates with existing airport systems and sensors to deliver optimal what-if scenarios to controllers, while planning for future automation www.iatas.aero/aces.html
