COMSOFT and R.I.S.K. agree on a cooperation for development of an integrated AIM system.
KARLSRUHE/GERMANY and BAKU/AZERBAIJAN, October 2008 The German ATM system supplier COMSOFT and R.I.S.K. from Azerbaijan have agreed to join forces and develop a highly integrated system for Aeronautical Information Management (AIM). R.I.S.K. is a software house providing excellent solutions for Aeronautical Charting and intelligent Procedure and Airspace design in accordance with PANS-OPS and PANS-ATM rules.
COMSOFT has a long track in the provision of a large variety of products, reflecting the manifold demands of the whole ATM market, in particular Aeronautical Information Management.
The integration of the components addresses today's and future needs of ANSPs for seamless integration of dynamic and static AIS data with the production and maintenance of aeronautical charts and procedures. The new cooperation fits perfectly with the recently established partnership between COMSOFT and Synclude (Belgium). Synclude is a successful specialist for eAIP and has evolved as a market leader in this domain.
The joint approach fully supports leading edge concepts like AIXM-5, conventional and digital NOTAM (xNOTAM), eAIP, Integrated Briefing, PANS-OPS and RNAV procedures, and will allow coherent and seamless workflows between all tasks of a modern and future-proof AIM.
COMSOFT GmbH was established in 1979 and has been active in the ATC domain for over 20 years. The company enjoys a worldwide reputation in this market.
