Precision Applications installing at 7 UK Airports
Precision Applications is to complete a further 7 Voice and Radar Recording installations at UK airports before the end of November 2011.
Precision Applications is currently installing seven ATC Recording Systems in the UK, all of which will be operational by the end of November 2011. Currently there is a total of ten fully operational installations, which record in excess of 600 voice channels, 34 Through the Wall radar channels and 33 At the Glass radar screens. The first two installations, at Bristol and Exeter International Airports, were commissioned in 2009 and were the first systems to be approved to the latest standards. The new installations will bring the total number of recorded voice channels to in excess of 1000 with more than 50 TTW radar channels and 50 radar screens.
Precision Applications is proud to be the prime manufacturer of ATC Recording Systems that have been demonstrated to comply in full with the latest UK CAP 670 regulations and approved by the Safety Regulation Group of the UK CAA. We are NATS (Services) preferred supplier for recording systems and work very closely with them at many airports.
Denise Malyan, Managing Director of Precision Applications, said I am very pleased that we are leading the way with ATC recording systems in the United Kingdom. Without doubt we have the largest installed base in the UK. We strive to implement proposed changes to legislation in advance of their introduction. This enables us to demonstrate and supply systems that are fully compliant with the latest regulations in advance of our competitors. We are optimistic that we will be announcing further installations before the end of this year.
