Ricochet AS will supply a digital recording system for all ground-to-air communication, one of the mission critical systems for air traffic control
The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department had selected Schmid Telecom AG as the supplier of the new communication system, and Ricochet AS is the supplier of the integrated digital recording system which will serve as the core engine for recording and synchronized replay of all recorded data. The Ricochet system is a fully redundant solution. 1450 voice channels, in addition to 2Kx2K Screens, will be recorded by Ricochets technology. Hong Kong will benefit from Ricochet CATCH; the next generation replay control panel for synchronized playback of recorded data - from all sources, through the same tool. Ricochet CATCH features a revolutionary high level of functionalities that enables maximum replay options for incident investigation, training, and creation and maintenance of large distributed systems. Ricochet CATCH will provide the air traffic operators with the highest level of replay functionality available on the market.
