Simulator for Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Durham Tees Valley Airport

Liverpool John Lennon Airports existing BEST radar simulator was upgraded this month when the airport entered back into a support contract with Micro Nav. The upgrade has brought their system in line with the current version of BEST, providing the simulator with additional functionality. At the same time a new system was installed at Durham Tees Valley Airport and following a system demonstration both simulators have been accepted.
 
A 5-day user training course is due to follow later this year.
 
As part of the support contract one attendee is invited to attend Micro Navs BEST User Group free of charge. Marc Hill Watch Supervisor at Liverpool joined this years User Group which was held in Amsterdam, Holland. He commented: It is great to be back in support and have our BEST system upgraded. We will now benefit from regular software updates and be a part of the BEST user community. The BEST User Group provided an insight into Micro Nav and other Users and I got so much more from it than I had expected.
