Andorra - La Seu, Spain AFIS contract award

Systems Interface, based in the UK, has won the contract to supply, install and commission a complete Aerodrome Flight Information Service system (AFIS) at Andorra-La Seu Airport, Spain for Servicos Aeronáuticos Control Y Navegación SL (SAERCO).

Systems Interface will supply a suite of Frequentis products including:

iSecComm VCS, a single coherent IP network, allowing voice communication and data, in addition to information services to be shared on the same network.
DIVOS recording system that offers recording of all relevant information such as, voice, screen, radar and all other data of interest.
TAPtools to include, smartNAV, smartMET and smartLICOS.

The contract also includes the supply and installation of Transceiver Radios and Master Clock.

Installation will commence by the end of 2014.

Andorra-La Seu Airport reopened in June 2010. Conveniently located in the middle of the Pyrenees near Andorra and close to skiing areas and parks, it will become a public and commercial airport later this year.
