Systems Interface awarded ILS replacement contract at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Zambia
Systems Interface, based in the UK, has been awarded a Turnkey contract by Zambia Airports Corporation Limited to install a new Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.
Systems Interface will supply, deliver, install and commission a Normarc 7000 ILS System with a co-located Normarc DME complete with a remote control and monitoring system on runway 10/28.
Installation and commissioning of the ILS system that includes a 16-element Two-Frequency Localizer Antenna System, a Single-Frequency dual transmitter Glide Path system with Hot-Standby monitoring, a Null reference Glide Path Antenna System and a Low Power Dual 100w DME including uni-directional antenna will begin late 2019.
