Systems Interface win Khujand International airport ILS/DME contract
Systems Interface, based in the UK, has won the contract to supply a new Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) at Khujand International Airport, Republic of Tajikistan.
Contracts were signed in early August between Systems Interface and OJSC Khujand International Airport.
Systems Interface will be responsible for the supply, installation and commissioning of the ILS/DME system that will replace the existing end-of-life Russian equipment. Equipment includes a new Glidepath System, Glidepath Antenna System, Localizer and low Power DME along with new fibreglass Equipment shelters. The system also includes a remote control, remote maintenance and monitoring system.
The project is jointly funded by OJSC Khujand International Airport and via a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
