Thales TopSky-AIM system supports improvement of French Aeronautical Information and Publications

Thales TopSky-AIM solution deployed for the French DSNA, and in operation for over a year, has recently reached another step with the publication of the first Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) in electronic format.

French SIA is now getting all the benefits of its integrated TopSky-AIM solution, as AIP is fully generated from its AIXM database content automatically and in different formats (PDF and HTML). TopSky-AIM system enables French SIA to improve data quality and integrity, to reduce manual efforts and to improve the overall safety of the aeronautical users.

Thales has been at the forefront of AIM development for a number of years and benefits of its leading position in both ATM and Avionics to develop innovative solutions. Thales recently demonstrated how AIPs could be more easily integrated into a cockpit environment by equipping its Avionics 2020 future cockpit concept with an electronic AIP functionality.
