- Burlington, VA. USA.

UFA, Inc. today announced that delivery of the United States Navy's latest ATTower Tower Simulation System (TSS) has been completed at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. This installation marks the 39th ATTower system deployed in support of the US Navy and US Marine Corps completing the delivery phase of the USN TSS Project. The ATTower system integrates state-of-the-art ATView 3D airport visualization, simulated tower technology such as weather, radar, voice communications, and information displays and full ATVoice Voice Recognition and Response capabilities to provide the highest fidelity training environment.

Lawrence Pennett, UFA's President, remarked that “the success of this project was only possible through our close collaboration with the Navy and Marine facilities resulting in the highest quality system being delivered each and every time meeting or exceeding the user's expectations. For our entire team it has been a privilege to work alongside NAWCTSD, PMA-205, and the professional Air Traffic Controllers of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. While this phase of the project has come to an end, we look forward to continuing to provide world-class support to our military user community.”

UFA continues a long history of providing ATC Simulation to the US Military including the embedded ATCoach Radar Simulator with the Department of Defense Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS), voice recognition enabled mobile and Precision Approach Radar Simulators for the US Air Force, and the deployment of 43 ATCoach Radar Simulators and 25 ATTower Tower Simulators to the US Army and Army National Guard.
