UFA, Inc. Opens ATCSim Innovation Center in Bavaria, Germany
UFA, Inc. today announced the opening of the ATCSim Innovation CenterSM in Kaufbeuren, Germany.
The 350 square meter facility offers UFA’s state-of-the-art ATC Tower, Radar and Airside Driving simulation technology for training, research and development. The ATCSim Innovation Center is fully equipped with offices, classrooms, and a conference room, making it a viable alternative for those training organizations that might not want to invest in their own in-house facility or have special simulation or training needs. Easily accessible via air, car, and rail, the center offers customers a variety of accommodations and the four-season recreational activities in Bavaria.
At its inauguration, Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) will commence Apron Control training for its latest class of new controllers using the UFA ATTower® Tower Simulator with ATView™ 3D Graphics and ATRadio® Voice Communications at the ATCSim Innovation Center. Key FMG operational controller applications are integrated with the simulator to provide high fidelity training.
