The National Agency of Civil Aviation (ANAC) is the competent body for aeronautical policy and surveillance of civil aviation. It ensures that Nigerien civil aviation enjoys a high level of security and follows a sustainable development.
The missions of the ANAC as enumerated in the law are: regulation, multidisciplinary evaluation and expertise, the protection of freedoms, guarantee the impartiality of the public power, ensure the control and certification of organs and air traffic control personnel.
