Position: ATC Installation Leader/ Naval Weapons Commissioning Engineer Duties: ATC: Responsible for site survey, installation and commissioning of all ATC related projects for Land and Joint Systems. Specific Projects: Note Air Traffic Communications Systems experience only shown OMNICRASH Primary Airfield Crash Alarm System Installation and commissioning at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports. Also installation of remote equipment at off-airport agencies (Police, Ambulance and Fire Stations). EHS (Emergency Handset System) Installation, commissioning and training at LATCC (London Air Terminal Control Centre), Manchester, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Stansted airports. Seconded to Thomsom CSF Airsys for 18 months (1994-1995). Installation, commissioning and user training: Main voice switch (TXM4400) and backup voice switch, King Fahd Airport, Saudi Arabia Main voice switch (TXM4400) and backup voice switch, Changi Airport, Singapore 300 line military voice switch (TXM4400), Prestwick Control Centre, Scotland Main Voice Switch, London Stansted Airport RICE (Radio Interface Communications Equipment) Three year programme of installation and commissioning of TXM4400 digital voice switches at multiple NATS radio stations in the United Kingdom. The interface between ATC at Swanwick and Prestwick and the remote radio sites/sectors BURT (Back Up Radio Telephony) Installation, commissioning and training at Swanwick (200 positions) and multiple sites within the London FIR of standalone receivers, transmitters and PSTN utilised voice gateway interfaces. McBURT The Scottish version of BURT, installation, commissioning and training at Prestwick and multiple sites across Scotland. MAA (Missed Approach Alarm) Installation and commissioning at RAF Northolt and London Gatwick Airport EVCS (Emergency Voice Communications Switch). Installation, commissioning and training: Stockholm, Malmo enroute centres (TALK Project), Portugal (part of the GETALIS project), Zagreb enroute centre, Croatia, Birmingham, London City, Edinburgh, Heathrow EDF, Southampton, Heathrow New Tower (T5), Cardiff, Stansted and Farnborough Airports.
