The Iranian Airport Company, a division of the Iran Ministry of Raod and Transportation is inviting interested parties to express interest to develop and operate the World Trade Center at Mashad International Airport.
Mashhad International Airport has an integrated international/domestic terminal building, thus it is potentially ready for a World Trade Center to be established. The World Trade Center is a key source of professional and technical support. It is multifunctional facility designed to cater to the many and various needs of the international business community.
Iranian Airport Company (IAC), as a division of Iran Ministry of Road and Transportation, invites interested parties to express interest to develop and operate the World Trade Center at Mashhad International Airport. The World Trade Center will be housed in a building of outstanding quality within the new terminal or any desired location throughout the airport offering the only Grade A commercial office space in the vicinity.
Future tenants for the center include airlines, aviation-related industries and international trade and business offices. Integrating the entire Blue Diamonds business community, this 20000+ sqm World Trade Center will operate round-the-clock and provide neighbour tenants with key business facilities and professional services, a trade research library, dining facilities, health club, members lounge, for events and functions.

The central reception will be conveniently located at the main lobby level of the building- a gateway location with VIP drop-off, direct access to international and domestic passenger terminal and 360 degree views, with a dedicated apron facility.

To become a member of the World Trade Center Association with a network of more than 300 centers around the world, the World Trade Center at the Mashhad airport reinforces the vision of Middle Asia leadership in trade and transportation and is a superb business opportunity.
1. The interested party should be a reputed company having at least one similar experience in WTC operation preferably in an airport.
2. The interested party should be a well-established entity, having a proven track record in setting up, designing, developing, operating, maintaining and managing such projects.
3. The interested party shall have no pending, active or previous legal action that prevents the interested party from fulfilling the conditions of the License and the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
4. The interested part shall not have been debarred by any airport operator for any reason whatsoever at any time.
5. Being a member of World Trade Center Association (WTCA) would be a positive point.
Mashhad International Airport or Shahid Hashemi Nejad Airport is located in Mashhad, Khorasan, Iran. It has frequent flights to several cities within Iran and also international flights to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Afghanistan and Qatar.
Mashhad International Airport is the second most important airport in Iran, which serves as a leading tourist and pilgrim's destination. It has experienced a large unexpected growth in the number of passengers in the last few years.
In 2007, it experienced a 37% increase in total number of passengers and a 26% increase in total number of flights, it had an outstanding growth rate. In the same period international passenger numbers and flights have grown by 41% and 33% respectively.
The information provided by the response to this Expression of interest will be used as a database of individuals and businesses interested in developing and operating Mashhad International Airport. An evaluation committee will review the RFP submittals received.
Interested parties are required to provide the following information below:
1. Company name, address, contact person for inquiries
2. Number of years in operation
3. Group (if applicable) and company organizational structure and equity
4. Description of current activities and market share/importance
5. Names, positions and profiles of key people who would be involved in your operations
6. Any other additional information and material which seems relevant
All costs incurred by respondent in preparation of respondent's submittal will be borne by respondent. The IAC is not responsible for any costs associated with this proposal submission.
The Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) will be issued by IAC to the interested parties. The deadline for accepting the requests will be up to 1 month after this notice notification
