Enav and Boeing have signed a Memorandum of Collaboration
On the occasion of the World ATM Congress, ENAV and Boeing entered into a non-exclusive collaborative arrangement with the aim of developing ideas to build on the work being done in SESAR and NextGen, to ensure safe, efficient and reliable ATM into the future.
In the framework of this Memorandum of Collaboration the parties intend to discuss and develop potential collaborative opportunities to support the objective of globally interoperable ATM systems, including but not limited to potential cooperative contributions to the SESAR JU and the U.S. NextGen initiative.
The collaboration may be also extended to further activities as they relate to other public and private ATM initiatives in the future.
Massimo Garbini, ENAV CEO, said: This agreement is the proof that ENAV believes in the synergy between aviation industry partners. I am convinced that it is the only way to drive the modernization of the air traffic system.
Neil Planzer, Vice President Boeing Airspace & Air Traffic Management Digital Aviation Customer Solutions, said:"This cooperation further advances a key relationship that deploys new technologies linking the airplane and ANSPs. At Boeing we look forward to working with ENAV to deliver important stakeholder benefits to the aircraft operators."
