Airtaxis, Vertiports and advanced Air Mobility are features of the new edition of World ATM Congress

For the first time, visitors are able to ride on an air taxi developed by UMILES Next which allows the autonomous transport of passengers.

The 2022 edition is going to show the first vertiports- real infrastructure which allows the incorporation of passenger drones in the advanced air mobility.

More than 180 leading companies from the aviation sector and the drone sector are together at IFEMA featuring a huge panel of experts, among them are NATO, NASA, the European Commission, among others.

The World ATM Congress 2022 is opening on Tuesday at 10:00 hours and will include the largest stand of its date- Europe for Aviation- entirely devoted to the future challenges of European aviation: security, sustainability, technological innovation, and the development of the only sky where drones and aircrafts will coexist.

Furthermore, World ATM Congress is again including the Expodrónica Pavillion, sponsored by UMILES Group, which represents the greatest showcase for Advanced Air Mobility and will include a presentation on the first vertiports: infrastructures which allow to integrate passenger drones in cities, among other things, in the next years.

Additionally, the sponsor of the Expodrónica Pavilion, UMILES Group, is presenting a new version of the airtaxi: Concept Integrity, which is being accessible so that visitors may access it and recreate the experience onboard. This aircraft is going to be the one which is going to fly in the planned performances by different European initiatives (Cranfield, Amsterdam, Santiago de Compostela, Jaén, Bordeaux, and Toulouse), to create, among all who take part in the European companies consortium, the future track for the development of regulation and to consider all of the contexts where security intercedes, among other aspects.
