CANSO Welcomes CARC Jordan as Full Member
CANSO, the Global Voice of ATM, is pleased to announce that the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission of Jordan (CARC) has joined the Association as its 56th Full Member.
Graham Lake, CANSO Director General and Salem Jahdli, Director Middle East Affairs, personally welcomed His Excellency Captain Suleiman Obeidat, Chief Commissioner and CEO of CARC, at a special meeting in Amman today.
Mr. Lake said:
We are delighted to welcome CARC Jordan to CANSO. It is clear from our positive meeting that CARC is committed to transforming global ATM performance, and will play a significant role in shaping the future of ATM in the Middle East as part of our Middle East Regional Office.
I would like to thank His Excellency and his team for their hospitality today, and I look forward to working together in the future.
The Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission of Jordan (CARC) was established on 1st August 2007 to replace the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Its mission is the promotion and development of civil aviation safety, security and environmental regulatory compliance, while ensuring the economic soundness of a liberalised industry.
