Airways New Zealand welcomes the CANSO Global Safety Conference 2025

Airways New Zealand is delighted to host the 2025 Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) Global Safety Conference, set to take place in Christchurch from 25 to 28 March. The conference will bring together more than 100 aviation safety leaders and experts from around the world to discuss and collaborate on safety and technological advancements in air traffic management (ATM) and air navigation services.

The CANSO Global Safety Conference will feature a dynamic programme with a different theme each day. The first day is “Safety in Practice” which reflects on current challenges and practices for improvements. Day two is “Safety Culture” and takes a deep dive into fatigue as well as objectives to make improvements. Day three is “Delivering Safety in our Future Skies” and considers the future of aviation and how the safety community will consider future challenges. The final day of the conference Safety Programme Working Groups will have individual breakouts to collaborate on existing and future work plans.

Overall, the conference will be covering key topics such as emerging safety technologies, data-driven decision-making, and safety culture in air traffic management. Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions with leading figures from the global aviation community.
