ENAV Digitalizes Aeronautical Information - EAIP is born

Innovation, digitalization, dematerialization, usability and efficiency. These are a few features of the new AIP, the Aeronautical Information Publication Italy (or AIP - Italy). It was born thanks to the work, endeavour and synergy between the two companies of the ENAV Group, ENAV and IDS AirNav.

The Aeronautical Information Publication is the official document thanks to which the Italian State provides information, rules and procedures to fly in Italy. It’s a manual of many pages that ENAV must constantly update, in compliance with the regulations issued by ICAO, the International Civil Aviation Organization.

With the development and implementation of the Electronic Aeronautical Information Publication (eAIP), ENAV Group enables users to consult aeronautical information directly on the web. They will no longer have to download the whole publication in .pdf format, as they can directly consult the dedicated section of their interest.

The eAIP was born in compliance with the requirements and harmonization and automation standards defined by EUROCONTROL and ENAC (the Italian Civil Aviation Authority). 

The new eAIP Italia can also be used on mobile devices for quick and easy consultation.
