FerroNATS wins the tender for the PDS at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport
FerroNATS, the Spanish air Navigation Service provider, has been awarded the Apron Management Service (SDP) for terminals T123 and T4 at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, replacing SAERCO, the current provider, who has provided the service for the last five years.
FerroNATS will be responsible for managing and ordering the movement of aircraft in the apron at Spain's main airport assuming traffic levels which have almost reached pre-pandemic figures, when more than 426,000 movements were recorded annually.
The contract, signed at the end of July, has a duration of four years. The agreement can be extended for a further year. The transition is expected in January 2023.
