Flight Procedures: IDS signs the contract with the Saudi Air Navigation Services
Massimo Garbini, Chief Executive Officer of IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. signed a new contract with the Saudi Air Navigation Services - SANS.
The ceremony took place in Madrid at the World ATM Congress 2018, the prime event in the air traffic management sector, from March 6th to 8th March.
The collaboration with the Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS), the authorized entity by General Authority of Civil
Aviation (GACA) for provision of air navigation services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will cover the conversion of flight procedures for 9 airports within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Massimo Garbini, Chief Executive Officer of IDS said: “We are delighted to welcome SANS as our newest customer. Today we recognize the importance of this partnership for the future of new flight conversion in 9 airports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We look forward to additional services to be contracted in the upcoming future.”
Eng. Ryyan Tarabzoni, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS) said that the contract with IDS will enhance the in-house capability of SANS in transitioning its instrument flight procedures to ICAO PANS-OPS thereby achieving another milestone towards compliance to ICAO standards.
