FREQUENTIS to Exhibit at the Largest Air Traffic Control Conference and Exposition in the Americas: Booth 229
From November 2 – 4, the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Annual Conference and Exposition takes an in-depth look at the future of Air Traffic Management
The conference will provide three days of presentations, seminars, networking opportunities and exhibitions with international ATM experts. ATCA will be combined with the Civil/Military Aviation Conference (CMAC). CMAC, organized by ATCA, is the world’s largest civil/military air traffic management summit, where senior civil and military leaders from all over the world explore plans for collaboration.
FREQUENTIS Subject Matter Experts Will be Presenting Key Topics as follows:
Presentation: Remote Towers – Next Generation Tower Operations
Presenter: Markus Klopf, Frequentis
General Dynamics Theatre | Monday, November 2, 2015 | 2:00 – 2:30pm
The concept of remote towers is becoming an operational reality with deployments planned by ANSPs on various continents. Also, larger airports now consider remote tower technologies a viable concept, not just to save costs but also to improve safety. The Frequentis remote tower solution builds upon Frequentis’s vast experience in the area of mission-critical control rooms, and provides a highly reliable solution built to improve the operational performance of ATC operations.
Presentation: computer-human interaction (CHI) for the Next Generation of ATM
Presenter: Jim Cozens, Frequentis
Aireon Fly-By Theatre | Tuesday, November 3, 2015 | 11:30 – 11:50am
Myriad new systems are in production to meet the challenges of next-generation ATM, but nobody wants to touch the complex topic of CHI. However, new automation simply can’t work unless we reassess the relationship between the systems and controllers in order to release the potential benefits from these remarkable tools. It’s time to roll up our sleeves and figure out a better way to get the best from our people and our technology. Let’s talk about how we can do that.
Frequentis will demonstrate its market-leading civil and military communications, information, and automation systems:
- Terminal Flight Data Management (TFDM) with Electronic Flight Strips (smartSTRIPS)
- Remote Virtual Tower solution
- National Air Policing System for co-operation between Air Force, Police, and ANSPs
- Voice communications systems (VCS3020X), including new features such as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) support
- VHF- and UHF-based radio control networks for civil agencies and air defense (VCX product line)
- ATM Networks
- Aeronautical information management
This combined event is the perfect showcase for Frequentis to present its ATM Solutions to the civilian and military industry.
