Successful 2nd FREQUENTIS ATM Users’ Experience Conference
ATM Community met in Dubrovnik; conference hosted by Croatia Control
From 24 – 27 April, the 2nd Frequentis ATM Users’ Experience Conference took place in Dubrovnik. The event, hosted by the Croatian Air Navigation Services Provider Croatia Control brought together about 80 senior-level stakeholders from 25 European ANSPs. The ATM professionals exchanged experiences and views on how to enhance value of assets and further improve performance, operational efficiency and total cost of ownership in air traffic control.
The three-day conference programme focused on current challenges in the fast developing ATM Industry today and tomorrow. The conference identified and discussed industry-wide areas of activities, supporting Air Navigation Service business to share the best practises between the ATM Users trusting in Frequentis products and services. As Dragan Bilać, CEO Croatia Control, put it: “These conferences are the best events for sharing the experience of all stakeholders in order to achieve a sustainable, an efficient and a growing ATM business. It is crucial that we heard what the participants said about the challenges ahead, our concerns in facing them, and how we are going to achieve our common goals: reduced costs, improved efficiency, more capacity, and a cleaner environment.“
According to the conference’s motto “Navigating through the Turbulent Times” key note speeches, presentations and executive-level panel discussions featured ATM Challenges 2020, including a focus on how to best deal with the threads of cyber security.
Hannu Juurakko, Frequentis Vice President ATM Civil, commented: “As we learned from the participants’ feedback, the conference was welcomed as an opportunity by our customers to interact with their international peers. Our heartfelt thanks go to the European ANSPs, especially to Croatia Control, who made this great event possible.”
